Angelo Accardi

Born in Sapri (SA) in 1964. He grew up inspired by traditional Italian art and modern interpretations of classical subjects. In his works he incorporates famous and recognizable works of art from the sculptures of ancient Rome to the contemporary art of the last decades. His paintings thus become artistic conversations that expand over the centuries, playful, ironic and eccentric. Today his performances cross the oceans, exhibiting in the most prestigious galleries in the world with exclusive solo shows and representations on all continents.
